I’m happy to shout from the rooftops how in love I am with little farms with chickens freely roaming around and the charming houses that accompany them.
Farmhouses are simple, yet beautiful in their rustic nature, and the décor is easy to incorporate to your home with its neutral color scheme. It makes my little heart flutter!
Mr. H and I have been looking for the perfect farmhouse (for us) to buy when we move back to Michigan. I came so incredibly close to finding it a few times by searching on Zillow.
Unfortunately, everyone else loves farmhouses too, so they were snapped up quickly! To be fair, I know that houses rarely sit on the market for over a year, but there’s a tiny part of me that wishes they would! With our dream home in mind (a 4 bedroom, 2 bath farmhouse sitting on 5+ acres), I began searching on Amazon for farmhouse decor with several criteria in mind.
One, it has to be fairly neutral in color because I like to add different accents depending on the season. Two, it has to be under £50 since we’ll have an entire house to decorate instead of a tiny two-bedroom apartment.

I took a few hours to scour Amazon for the best farmhouse décor under £50, and let me tell you that it was extremely difficult!
Many of the things that I would choose to put in my own home that I found on Amazon were well over £100 per item. Shopping on a budget is hard!
Wall decor is not included on this list because I make and sell art prints in my shop. I don’t need that kind of competition!
